A Hella Big Can of Worms

Thank you, Doug, for opening this can of worms! Tee hee...

You see, I was introduced to cafepress.com this past weekend. I never knew it existed, and now that I do, I'm almost sold.

The thought has crossed my mind in the past to sell merchandise, especially after the Poker Bitch shirt I made for my Halloween costume last year. A couple of people wanted to know where I got it, but I wasn't able to furnish them with info other than "I had it made". Dave's parents arranged that for me - I bought my own shirt and they had the art put onto it... but there's no way that would be economically feasable for me to do for several shirts. Cafepress.com seems neat because I really don't have to put out any of my own money.

So I tried some stuff with the Poker Bitch logo - I had to create my own tribal design on it since the design I have on my own shirt was royalty-free art I downloaded for personal use. I think it turned out ok. I really like the shirt I did out of Dave's favorite saying at poker night - "No offense, but I hope you lose". I swear I'm going to buy him one to wear for poker night. It should go over big.

So anyway, yea, it's a big can of worms because I love this kind of stuff, like coming up with designs and witty sayings and such. The money? I'm not expecting anything, really, I think it's just the challenge of creating something.

So I'll see how it goes... if anyone out there has any comments on my stuff, my ears are open!!
