Wrench #2 In My Plan

The first wrench in my plan this week was starting to get sick. I feel a little better today, but it's still a coin toss whether or not I'm going to wind up sick for the holiday.

The second wrench got thrown in my plan today when I got a call from the salon telling me my stylist is sick and we'll have to reschedule. I was really hoping to get my horrendous roots the same color as the rest of my hair this week, but things happen. Pisser is, I'm rescheduled for next Tuesday after work. And they can't guarantee I can get everything done I wanted (color, highlights, and cut), I may just have to settle for a color and cut and go back another day for the highlights. Bigger pisser. And whether or not I get just color and a cut or the whole shebang Tuesday, it also means I'm not going to get home until after 9PM, I'm guessing (from experience). I was going to make my pumpkin pies Tuesday. I still may be able to work it in if I take the day off from work Wednesday and stay up late Tuesday night, but that's not really appealing to me at the moment.

I'm not by any means an organized person, but when I actually do end up making a plan or schedule and it gets all messed up, it just makes me wonder why I bothered to plan in the first place!
